New York Yankees outfielder crafted a gem of a tweet in relation to all of the Uber noise surrounding the Minnesota Twins.
“Uber, Uber, Uber … ” If the chant wasn’t enough, Cameron Maybin polished it off in a somewhat emphatic way.
On Tuesday, a day after the New York Yankees disposed of the Minnesota Twins in three games in the ALDS, the fourth outfielder crafted a gem of a tweet (depending on how you look at it) in relation to one of the series’ feel-good stories.
Cam, I understand why you deleted this, but it was…………hilarious pic.twitter.com/U9Xk5dCM5w

“I’d rate this series a 4.9/5,” Maybin tweeted.
Of course, the rating is in direct correlation to Randy Dobnak’s story. A former Uber driver who found himself starting Game 2 of the ALDS, Dobnak’s story was well-chronicled.
Unfortunately for Dobnak, things didn’t go his way in Game 2, an eventual Bombers victory. As for Maybin, the team’s fourth outfielder entered Game 3 for Giancarlo Stanton (for defensive purposes) and later put an exclamation point on the team’s 5-1 victory with a home run.
Maybin later deleted the tweet after an exchange with Dobnak (who had fun with the tweet and corresponding response), but not before Twitter savages screengrabbed the beauty.
Hmu if you need a ride dawg

“Deleted the tweet because that was wack,” Maybin wrote. “Ain’t no bad will to my guy @Dobnak_ and I respect his hustle that we all do to each and every day to make ends meat. No distractions. Staying focused on the next series on the #ChaseTo28.”
Cameron Maybin and the New York Yankees currently await the winner of the Houston Astros-Tampa Bay Rays series, to see who they’ll take on in the 2019 ALCS for the right to represent the league in the World Series.
