Odell Beckham Jr. is no stranger to criticism. The former New York Giants receiver called out Colin Cowherd for his different energy on TV.

Odell Beckham Jr. is never one to shy away from controversy. The former New York Giants wide receiver took to Twitter to call out FS1’s Colin Cowherd for a segment on the 10 most memorable moments of Beckham’s career.

A majority of the moments listed by Cowherd were negative in nature. Beckham’s on-field altercation with Josh Norman, the infamous Miami boat trip, the Paris hotel room incident were only a few of the negative moments included on the list.

Beckham responded by posting a text message conversation he had with Cowherd following the unexpected trade between the Giants and the Browns.

Although Beckham deserves the opportunity to defend himself, calling out Cowherd only draws more attention. Of course, we all know that Beckham has a tendency to gravitate towards the limelight for better or worse.

The fact of the matter is that Beckham is in an excellent situation with the Cleveland Browns. He’s playing on an up-and-coming team with a super-talented quarterback. Beckham should be in for a huge season with Baker Mayfield throwing him the ball.

It’s much more fun to talk about what Beckham can do on the field as opposed to focusing on his off-the-field drama. I’m sure it’s tiring for Beckham to get bombarded with the criticism, but he has a chance to put the focus back on football in Cleveland. That’s where OBJ is at his best.
