On Monday, Kevin Durant was subjected to one Houston heckler who was fixated on shouting “New York Knicks!”

New York Knicks fans are all coming together and it’s actually quite beautiful. The fanbase is banding together to do whatever it takes to woo Kevin Durant.

On Saturday, Adam Sandler made his pitch to Durant via the revival of his Opera Man character. On Monday, one dedicated fan in Houston made sure to make his voice heard.

Admittedly, it’s unclear whether or not this is a Knicks fan. There’s a good chance it’s a Houston Rockets fan who is just trying to throw Durant off his game.

This fan was vocal for most of the game, although it didn’t look like he threw Durant off his game much. Despite the Golden State Warriors falling to Houston, Durant was an absolute flamethrower once again. He poured in 34 points, seven rebounds, and five assists.

Even with so many incredible NBA playoffs performances thus far, Durant may stand above the rest. All the more reason for Knicks fans to dream of KD donning the orange and blue.

It sounds like the Warriors are bracing for “seismic change” within the organization. If Durant chooses to walk in free agency, for the Knicks or anyone else, the entire landscape of the NBA changes. The Warriors will still be a legitimate contender to win a championship, but they won’t be the overwhelming favorite they are with Durant.

Until July 1, all fans can do is repeatedly shout “New York Knicks” at Durant.
