New York Yankees starting pitcher CC Sabathia reveals his strong feelings about wanting Manny Machado to play in the Bronx.
The big lefty wants the grand free-agent prize.
On the latest edition of the R2C2 Podcast with Ryan Ruocco, CC Sabathia professed his love of the idea that Manny Machado chooses the New York Yankees.
“No, I haven’t talked to him since the last time I guess we did a podcast. You know, it’s just, you don’t want to keep bothering the guy. You know, calling the guy and all that sh*t. I mean, we all know what’s going on; we can see the news and stuff. So you don’t want to keep hounding the guy and things like that. You just kind of let it play out. Hopefully, he’s a teammate in a couple of weeks and I won’t have to keep texting him.”
In 2018, he clubbed 37 home runs to go along with 137 runs batted in and a crisp .297 average. Along with Bryce Harper, he’s the best available player on the market.
The latest news and rumors are just as confusing and meaningless as the previous hot stove noise. Nobody knows what’s going on with Machado’s camp.

Perhaps CC Sabathia’s final year is accompanied by Manny Machado’s first season as a New York Yankees employee.
