The New York Yankees have announced their starters for Games 1 & 2 of the ALDS against the Cleveland Indians.

The New York Yankees have won the American League Wild Card Game and are getting ready for a heavyweight ALDS matchup against the Cleveland Indians.

Sonny Gray will be handed the ball on the road in game one against the tribe. In three starts against Cleveland this season, Gray is 1-2 with a 4.86 ERA.

However, in two career postseason starts Gray has an impressive 2.08 ERA which he will look to add onto as he makes the big start for New York.

Veteran left-hander CC Sabathia will be handed the ball in game two and will hopefully be on the mound pitching to give the Yankees a 2-0 series lead.

Sabathia has not faced the Indians this season, but in 11 career starts against his former team CC is 4-3 with a 3.65 ERA. Sabathia has not made a postseason appearance in Cleveland since he was on the Indians himself 10 years ago.

It was also announced that Masahiro Tanaka will be on the mound for game three and Luis Severino will take the ball in game four.

This ALDS is surely shaping up to be a big one and the Yankees will be looking to take down the almighty Cleveland Indians.
