Amed Rosario, New York’s most prized prospect, was finally called up on Monday and will play his first career MLB game tonight in Colorado. It’s safe to say that the 21-year-old understands the unwavering support he has received this season.

At 2:18 AM this morning, Rosario tweeted out a letter addressed to just “Mets fans”. In it, we see Rosario use the word “ALL” three times, a true indication of his recognition and appreciation of New York’s constant support during his time in the minors.

Check out the letter here:

After impressing for Las Vegas all season in Triple-A, Mets fans are confused that it took this long for Rosario to be called up. I mean, the guy hit .328 with seven home runs, 58 RBI, and 19 stolen bases. On top of that, he’s widely considered one of the best prospects in all of baseball.

Well, he’s finally here, and hopefully to stay. The Mets are in the midst of an injury-plagued season that has almost put their early-season pennant aspirations to rest. It’s the perfect time for Rosario to showcase his worth and give fans hope for next year and beyond.

Hopefully, Rosario can prove his worth from the get go, and give New York some light at the end of the tunnel.
