In this New York Jets Gang Green Report, we discuss Joe Klecko for the Pro Football Hall of Fame and Vince Young trashing Ryan Fitzpatrick.
It’s been discussed and bandied about too many times to count …
The Pro Football Hall of Fame status of the great Joe Klecko.
Klecko, a man who literally dominated offensive lineman at three different positions (DT, DE, NT) during the decade of the 1980s, is still left holding the bag as it concerns Canton, Ohio. This entire time, Klecko, as classy as an individual comes, still maintains that the snub doesn’t bother him.

Fans and the media have other feelings on the matter and now that another yearly crop of hall of fame candidates are around the corner, Klecko’s name is drawing serious buzz.

In other news, specifically relating to today’s Jets, rookie sensation Jamal Adams is already drawing rave reviews. in one specific instance, teammate and fellow defensive back, Morris Claiborne, said, “He’s unbelievable,” via David Wyatt of Gang Green Nation.
“He’s been out here playing lights out,” Claiborne said. “Picking up the defense, checking to different things, knowing what he wants to check to. He’s having fun doing it, too. His spirit is awesome. He’s having fun doing what he knows how to do, and that’s football.
“I can’t be more impressed with a young guy coming into the league, and, especially playing on that backend, doing the things he’s done so far.”
Finally, one out-of-work quarterback decided to trash Ryan Fitzpatrick, a man who put up a season in 2015 the out-of-work man could only dare dream of. Former Tennessee Titans quarterback Vince Young literally trashed Fitzpatrick.
“I’d see a quarterback and be like, ‘Dude is garbage, and I’m over here in the kitchen cooking turkey necks?’” Young told Sports Illustrated. “I hate to name-drop, but [Ryan] Fitzpatrick is still playing? He leads the league in interceptions, and he’s still f–king getting paid? I mean, what the f–k is going on?”
