The injury problems continue for the New York Mets as second baseman Neil Walker is injured running to first base.

While bunting Juan Lagares to second base, Neil Walker sprinted down the line and grabbed the bottom of his left hamstring. The injuries don’t stop for the Mets, and it makes you wonder whether Sandy Alderson will call up Amed Rosario anytime soon.

The Mets are losing infielders every day, and the bleeding needs to stop. New York has already had Cespedes, Cabrera, Syndergaard, Familia, D’arnaud, Flores, and Duda on the DL this season.

Walker is hitting .270 this season with 9 homers and 33 RBI’s. He was finally starting to get hot after a slow start to the season, making the blow even nastier to the Metropolitans.

Duda was put in the game at first base, and T.J. Rivera moved to second.
