With bits and pieces leaked out throughout the day, we now know the New York Jets schedule opens in Buffalo and closes in New England.

This is something that the new social media age greatly disturbs. Prior to this new content era, the NFL schedule would be released in one fell swoop. Fans would receive the info and digest it all in one setting.

Now, forget about it.

Although Roger Goodell and his henchmen don’t officially release the 2017 NFL schedule until 8 p.m. ET tonight, bits and pieces are leaking through.

When it comes to the New York Jets, here’s what we know so far:

Jets’ 2017 Schedule:

Not only will they open in Buffalo and take on the Bills, they’ll close in snow and chilly New England during week 17. Should Todd Bowles’s squad stun the entire world and put themselves into playoff position, it’ll be Tom Brady and Bill Belichick who stand in their way.

Stay tuned as more comes our way.
