With April upon us, it’s time to break out the New York Rangers Stanley Cup Playoffs hype videos. First on the docket? Metrangerfan711.

He’s back … and it didn’t even take that long this time around.

Our favorite hype man, metrangerfan711 is back with this New York Rangers 2017 Stanley Cup Playoffs hype video.

Check it out above. It begins in the most fitting way, paying tribute with no sound to Steven McDonald, fallen hero who was a fixture not only in Rangerstown, but New York City. It then goes into a more “proper” mode with the backdrop of Metallica’s “Seek and Destroy.”

This is a quick turnaround for metrangerfan711 as he recently debuted his New York Mets 2017 season preview video recently — another Metallica choice number.

The Rangers, now that the Atlantic Division is all accounted for, will be taking on the Montreal Canadiens in the first round of the playoffs. They’ll travel to Montreal for Game 1.
