New York Yankees: Nick Swisher Joins Fans In The Right Field Bleachers (Video)

Former New York Yankees outfielder Nick Swisher took to the right field bleachers with Ron Guidry to interact with some lucky fans.

It’s not every day a New York Yankees‘ fan can go home and say “guess what?! I sat with Nick Swisher and Ron Guidry today!”

Well, both former World Champions, who serve as guest instructors at Yankees camp, took to the right field bleachers during Saturday’s contest at George M. Steinbrenner Field and played the role of Yankee fan.

Swisher played with the Yankees from 2009-12 and smashed 105 games over 598 games. He was brought back on a minor league deal on April 14, 2016, but never made it past Triple-A before being released on July 3.

Despite just playing four years in the Bronx, however, Swisher was always considered a fan favorite especially with the fans who sit in Section 203 at Yankee Stadium.

As mentioned, he and Guidry serve as guest instructors during the spring time to give the young kids on the roster not only insight on how to develop into a great ballplayer, but how to soak in the “Yankee way.”

Giving the fans something to smile about is also great to watch, too.
