According to Adrian Wojnarowski of The Vertical, the Brooklyn Nets are in the process of moving closer towards a Bojan Bogdanovic trade.

Brook Lopez isn’t the only member of the Brooklyn Nets on the trade block this winter. According to Adrian Wojnarowski of The Vertical, swingman Bojan Bogdanovic is also in play, and the Nets are “moving closer” to choosing the “best available deal.”

Woj previously mentioned Bogdanovic as a target for the Washington Wizards. They’re in the market for a “wing player” to improve their bench.

Bogdanovic is a restricted free agent at season’s end meaning whatever team has him can match the offer he receives. There’s a good market for that.

Draft picks in return are more important than Bogdanovic is to the team right now. The Nets aren’t going to pay him this summer anyway.

The 27-year-old from Croatia is averaging 26.9 minutes, 14.2 points, 3.6 rebounds, 1.6 assists, 0.4 steals on a slash line of .440/.357/.874. He’s second on the squad in points and first in three-pointers made.
