Did Odell Beckham Jr. just jab at Josh Norman?

Following Sunday’s victory, New York Giants’ star wideout Odell Beckham Jr. might have poked some fun at Redskin’s corner Josh Norman

It’s no secret that New York Giants’ wide receiver Odell Beckham Jr. and Washington Redskins’ cornerback Josh Norman don’t exactly get along well. Norman was flagged twice on Sunday’s game for penalties against Beckham. He, along with many other defenders, have tried to get under OBJ’s skin.

Earlier in the season, and for the past two seasons, Beckham has been easily bothered by opposing defensive backs. It’s certainly damaged his reputation and made him come off as a little immature, but the the third year pro has learned to move past the late hits, trash talk, and other gimmicks from defenders.

It’s also no secret that OBJ and hip hop mogul Drake also get along well. His Instagram post which quotes Drake lyrics not only shows support for a personal friend, but also could be poking fun at Norman.

When Beckham mentions the lyrics “Everybody got a deal, I did it without one,” he could be referring to the hefty contract Norman signed in the offseason. OBJ still has another year left on his rookie contract, conversely.

The beef between the two stars might not be ending anytime soon, just taking on a more passive aggressive tone.

Norman and his Carolina Panthers may have won round one, but OBJ has a playoff berth, a pro bowl nomination, and a contract that’s surely going to be larger than Norman’s on the horizon.

For Beckham and the Giants, it’s on to the next one.
