Everybody had Revis Island jokes on Thursday night. The list of people who dumped on New York Jets’ Darrelle Revis included J.R. Smith.
He who laughs first, laughs last? Is that the way it goes?
I really don’t know, to be honest.
What I do know, though, is that right now New York Jets future hall of fame cornerback Darrelle Revis is laughing last.
It all stems from one play on Thursday night. When Buffalo Bills speedster Marquise Goodwin burned Revis for an 84-yard TD, the entire world of Twitter broke out into jokes.
Tyrod goes DEEEEEEEP.@flashg88dwin beats Revis for an 84 yard TD!

This included Cleveland Cavaliers guard J.R. Smith:
Damn #Revisisland turning into a tourist resort… #JustSaying

On Friday, Revis returned the favor:
@TheRealJRSmith still heading to Canton though. What about you??? ?

He then added this:
We both won ships. We both will go down in the history books. Just think its funny him saying that especially after we've crossed paths. ☺️

Ahhh … there’s nothing quite like two phenomenal athletes going back and forth with some good old fashioned friendly banter on Twitter.
