The New York Yankees have announced what their schedule for 2017 will look like and boy are there some interesting matchups.
The New York Yankees have their 2017 schedule all set. Start making plans.
The campaign will launch on April 2 against the Tampa Bay Rays at Tropicana Field with the home opener commencing on April 10 against the same Rays’ team.
New York will square off with Boston for the first time for a three-game set starting on June 6 at Yankee Stadium.
The Subway Series will take place on August 14-17 with the first two being in the Bronx, and the latter two being in Flushing.
Next season, the Bombers will square off against National League Central teams which include visits to Wrigley Field on May 8 and PNC Park on May 5 to play the Chicago Cubs and Pittsburgh Pirates.
The St. Louis Cardinals will make their stop on April 14 for a three-game series and the Yankees will conclude the campaign against the Blue Jays at home.
Right off the bat, the series in Wrigley becomes a road trip for most Yankees’ fans while hosting the 11-time World Champion Cardinals will be pretty neat to watch.
