New York Yankees’ Closer Dellin Betances Visits New York Elementary School (Video)

New York Yankees‘ closer Dellin Betances visited an elementary school in New York in part of a New Era School event.

In part of a New Era School event, Dellin Betances took to an elementary school in New York to pay a surprise visit to come lucky kids.

Each kid received a New Era Yankees’ Cap, got to talk to the man who leads all of baseball’s relievers with 117 strikeouts, and took a photo with the closer.

This season, Betances is 3-4 with a 2.41 ERA and an astronomical 15.6 strikeouts per nine innings.

Although the teacher seemed more excited than the kids did, one day they will or, at least, should remember the day one of the best relievers in the game visited them at school.
