Don’t Blame Noah Syndergaard For Zapping The Empire State Building

New York Mets ace Noah Syndergaard claimed no responsibility for the lightning strike that struck the Empire State Building yesterday.

So, it wasn’t you that zapped the Empire State building yesterday, Noah? Debatable at best.

It’s hard to believe that the man with the alter ego of “Thor” had nothing to do with yesterday’s storms. Maybe he wanted an extra day of rest before pitching against the St. Louis Cardinals.

If you don’t follow Syndergaard on Twitter, you’re missing some social media gold. Check out this tweet from July 19th after closer Jeurys Familia escaped against the Cubs:

How can you not love this guy? At the bare minimum, his entertainment value is second to none.

Syndergaard is scheduled to start later today against St. Louis.
