Former New York Mets and New York Yankees outfielder Darryl Strawberry admitted to having sex during games.
The 80’s seemed like a time to seriously party, eh?
If you disagree, ask Darryl Strawberry about his career playing baseball in New York. Thursday morning’s episode of Mad Dog Sports Radio saw Strawberry admit to having sex in between innings during games.
The former New York Mets outfielder told Sirius XM host Evan Cohen, “Between innings. It worked out well just how crazy it was,” Strawberry stated. “It kind of worked out that way. You point (a woman) out and tell the kid (to go get her).”
That “kid” meant a clubhouse attendant. Strawberry also spoke about his relationship with Doc Gooden, drinking and smoking in the clubhouse, amongst other things during the interview.
It must have been so much easier to get away with things of that nature during the 80s. No camera phones, Twitter, Snapchat, etc were in existence. Only rumors spread by people at the ballpark were the only evidence of a player acting out of line.
ESPN is airing a 30 for 30 titled “Doc and Darryl” that begins at 9 P.M. EST tonight.
