Brooklyn Nets

The Brooklyn Nets pulled off another draft day trade, this time for Seton Hall guard Isaiah Whitehead.

The Brooklyn Nets traded into the first round this afternoon and used that pick on Michigan guard Caris LeVert. They decided to make a trade for another guard, Brooklyn-born Seton Hall product Isaiah Whitehead.

Whitehead told ESPN.com that it would be a “dream come true” to play for the New York Knicks, who have been dormant during the draft, but he will be a Net instead.

He’s one of the most intriguing players in the draft, with plenty of talent but even more risk attached.

Whitehead made a lot of plays at Seton Hall but he dominated the ball, lead the Big East in usage percentage, and made questionable decisions, he averaged 4.3 turnovers per 40 minutes and shot 37.5 percent from the field in his two collegiate seasons.
