New York Yankees: Carlos Beltran Blasts A Clutch Game-Tying Homer (Video)

New York Yankees’ right fielder Carlos Beltran continues to amaze in his age 39 season, blasting an opposite field game-tying two-run homer to pull the Yankees even with the Twins.

Trailing 4-2 in the eighth inning with Brett Gardner on first, who else other than Carlos Beltran would the New York Yankees want at the plate?

The answer is no one.

The 39-year-old sensation, if there ever was one, went to the opposite field off Kevin Jepsen to pull the Yankees even and give them newfound hope in the third game of four from Target Field.

The blast was Beltran’s 18th of the season, putting him one away from equalling his total from all of last year. He drove in his 47th and 48th RBIs of the season in the process.

What he is doing in his walk year is extraordinary, and the tale continues to push forth.
