We now know where Bart Scott stands. He firmly believes New York Jets quarterback Ryan Fitzpatrick is asking for entirely too much money.
“Fitz don’t have a leg to stand on man. He is who he is.”
Those were the words of former New York Jets and Baltimore Ravens linebacker Bart Scott today on NFL Radio of Sirius/XM.
The current CBS in-studio analyst discussed the Jets-Fitzpatrick saga, clearly backing the franchise.
“At this point, pretty much everybody knows who he is. He’s a quality guy.”
“He’s a bridge guy, a glue guy. He wouldn’t start for 20 other teams in the league.”
“It’s all downhill from here for Fitz.”
“He’s Hoyer. That’s who you are. Accept it.”
Those were just some of the quotes coming from the mouth of Scott over satellite radio on Monday.
