New York Yankees DH Alex Rodriguez Interestingly Rubs Bat In ‘Groin’ Area Prior To Homering (Video)

Watch this as New York Yankees designated hitter Alex Rodriguez rubs his bat in a very “questionable” area right before homering.

Of course he would do something like this. He’s Alex Rodriguez.

A-Rod, the lightning-rod of controversy, the infamous designated hitter for the New York Yankees has actually been relatively quiet in recent memory.

There has been very little to discuss as it concerns Rodriguez.

With his Bronx Bombers in Boston for a weekend set against the Red Sox, he made sure the discussion focused directly on him again.

Facing David Price, Rodriguez continued his recent mini-outburst with a 2-run home run in the third inning, his fifth of the season.

However, the A-Rod talk wasn’t about the home run. Instead, it focused around how he dried off his bat prior to the home run.

As you can clearly see, Rodriguez uses his groin area to get that bat dry. It makes complete sense. On such a rainy night, this is one of the dryer areas of the uniform.

But what about the usual armpit rub-off A-Rod?

Nevertheless, it’s A-Rod. He must make a splash whether intentional or not.
