The Brooklyn Nets were embarrassed on the road against the Orlando Magic, giving up a franchise worst 139 points.
- Orlando Magic 139 (31-43)
- Brooklyn Nets 105 (21-53)

The Brooklyn Nets were missing two key rotation players, Thaddeus Young and Rondae Hollis-Jefferson, tonight so it was expected they’d struggle even more than usual.
But this was just embarrassing.
The 139 points they allowed to the Orlando Magic were a franchise record, and it was just as ugly as it sounds.
All the progress the Nets have made over the last few games completely washed away against the Magic of all teams. That’s what happens to bad teams though, they go through bad slumps.
The Magic were ahead by 28 points at halftime, with Brook Lopez scoring just five points in the first half, and not playing in the second half. Bojan Bogdanovich didn’t play in the second half either, with head coach Tony Brown attempting to send a message to his team that their first half effort was unacceptable.
#Nets lineup update: @RondaeHJ24 and @yungsmoove21 will not play (rest) tonight at Orlando.

This is a Brooklyn #Nets record for points allowed (139). Franchise gave up 140 to Chicago in 1992. Wow worthy.

Final: Magic 139 Nets 105. Brooklyn's awful defense continues to be an issue, and it surrendered 61.5 percent… https://t.co/unEUjzHMIp

When #Nets gave up 140 on Jan 4, 1992 against Chicago, Jordan and Pippen combined for 48 points. #Magic don't have Michael or Scottie.
