No matter how a team is playing, they always give everything they have when LeBron James comes to town.

Competing against the greatest athlete in the world brings out the best in others, and that includes the Brooklyn Nets.

Brooklyn is 0-and-2 so far this season against Cleveland but they’ve kept both games close. When you’re as bad as the Nets, season’s shouldn’t be judged in wins and losses but by overall in-game effort and play.

After how good the Nets looked in defeat against the Hornets on Tuesday, despite the result, they should be riding high into tonight’s game against the Cavs.

Sean Kilpatrick will undoubtedly be looking forward to every game for the rest of the season, as he’s red-hot in his last five games scoring 18.0 points on 63.3 percent shooting including a career-high 25 points against the Hornets.

The return of rookie Rondae Hollis-Jefferson to the lineup was a welcome sight on Tuesday, as he looked to be in high spirits commenting on how great it was to be out there again.

Tonight will be an uphill battle for the Nets of course, and ultimately the Cavs’ talent will prevail but unlike most games in Brooklyn, it should be well-attended.
