Due to injury complications Daniel Bryan has retired. He also provided this epic farewell speech to his fans on Monday Night Raw.

On Monday night, fan favorite Daniel Bryan said goodbye to the WWE forever.

Due to health complications (concussions), Bryan announced that he’d be forced to retire immediately:

With Monday Night Raw being held in his home state of Washington, Bryan got the phenomenal opportunity to say goodbye while in the ring (video above).

“Now, it’s time for me to address the giant elephant in the room,” Bryan said, per WWE. “I know, I know. I didn’t want to shave my beard, either.”

He most definitely be missed, as seen throughout the night:

This doesn’t mean – for New York Islanders’ fans – that the “Yes, Yes, Yes” chant will be any less dramatic moving forward.
