Squaring off against the Senators tonight in Ottawa, New Jersey Devils forward Mike Cammalleri has given his club an early 2-0 lead.

When you discuss snipers in the NHL, one guy who doesn’t often gain enough respect plays right here in the Metropolitan area.

His name is Mike Cammalleri and he’s #Relentless.

Tonight has been no different as through one period he’s tallied two goals for his New Jersey Devils as they square off against the Ottawa Senators north of the border.

His first came on the power play, his 13th of the season at the 9:11 mark of the first (video above). His second came during a 5-on-5 variety with just under two-minutes remaining in the opening frame:
