Entering Oakland with a surprising 4-2 record, the New York Jets give away their pleasant season with an absolutely miserable performance.

There aren’t enough superlatives in the English language to describe the performance from the New York Jets in Week 8. Awful, terrible, putrid, and downright horrendous are just a few.
The Jets traveled into Oakland only to get their doors blown off by the upstart Raiders, 34-20. Ryan Fitzpatrick left the game early (thumb), and while Geno Smith did show a few flashes, simply couldn’t get the job done.
The worst part about this one, however, was the defense, who couldn’t tackle even a 12-year old on this day.

Someone needs to tell Geno:
75 percent of the world is covered by water.
The rest is covered by Charles Woodson.
