New York Yankees

After coming away with the 4-3 victory Friday night, the New York Yankees will send Michael Pineda to the mound on Saturday afternoon.

Alex Rodriguez decided that not going to the 2015 MLB All-Star Game was a benefit as he clubbed his 19th home run of the season Friday night in propelling the New York Yankees to a 4-3 win over the Seattle Mariners.

On Saturday afternoon (1:05 pm ET), the two teams will play Game 2 in the Bronx. Michael Pineda (9-5, 3.64 ERA) will take his talents to the mound while opposing Hisashi Iwakuma (1-1, 5.22 ERA).

Big Mike looks to continue his stellar pitching recently. Over the course of his last 22.2 innings, he’s struck out 24 batters and pitched to a 1.25 ERA.

He’ll look to cool down Kyle Seager who hit two-bombs into the Bronx air Friday night.
