New York Mets broadcaster Keith Hernandez was a little too honest when discussing the performance of pitcher Tanner Roark.

The New York Mets broadcast booth often times is more entertaining than the on-field product. That was the case again on Monday night in Los Angeles, courtesy of the infamous Keith Hernandez.

As the Mets were being pummeled by the Dodgers in Los Angeles, Gary Cohen and his colleague Keith discussed a few other ballgames from around the league, one of which was the Washington Nationals and Miami Marlins.

Tanner Roark was ineffective (to put it gently) for the Nats, and Keith gave a colorful description of how he felt Mr. Roark has recently been pitching.

“He’s been getting his tits lit recently.”

I’m unsure if Keith was aware that his mic was on, but his brutal honesty and comedic relief often makes the Mets much easier to watch. This wasn’t Keith’s first on-air blunder, not will it likely be his last, either.

Long live Gary, Keith and Ron.
