New York Yankees receiving calls for Michael Pineda (Report)
The New York Yankees have been reportedly receiving calls from opposing teams regarding the availability of Michael Pineda.
According to ESPN.com’s Andrew Marchand, the New York Yankees are fielding “several buy-low offers” regarding their greatest enigma.

It makes sense, as Big Mike becomes a free agent at the end of 2017, but general manager Brian Cashman might be willing to part with him at the deadline as he did with Ivan Nova.
Last season, Pineda became one of six players in major league history to strike out more than 200 but to manage an ERA over 4.80.
He also maintained a 17% home run rate but had the eighth-best strikeout rate, a 3.80 FIP and pitched in a career-high 175.2 innings, showing us he has the potential to form a fearful 1-2 punch with Masahiro Tanaka if he maintains consistency.
