The New York Yankees have acquired veteran outfielder Terrance Gore from the Kansas City Royals for cash considerations.
Moves have been made in the Bronx ahead of the July 31 trade deadline.

The Royals designated Gore for assignment last Friday.
Through 37 games for Kansas City this season, Gore hit .275 with just one RBI. It’s the only RBI he’s had in his major league career. In 100-career games in the majors, Gore is batting an average of .224.
Gore additionally had stolen 13 bases for Kansas City this year through 58 plate appearances.
The 28-year-old will start in Scranton/Wilkes-Barre due to the fact that the Yankees roster is filled at the moment, especially when it comes to the outfield position.
