The New York Yankees had plenty to celebrate in adding Joey Gallo and Anthony Rizzo to the lineup. Even better, Rizzo’s solo home run keyed a 3-1 victory over the Miami Marlins on Friday night.

Now, the Yankees will try to do it again in a Saturday night tilt.

The Tampa Bay Rays did their part to beat the Boston Red Sox on Friday and as a result, the third-place Yankees are now just 7.5 games back.
