The Godfather of sports memorabilia is opening up his own personal stash.

Potentially the greatest personal collection of NY Sports Memorabilia will be up for auction next month.

After moving on from Steiner Sports in 2019, Brandon Steiner, the pioneer of modern day sports collectibles created CollectibleXChange a place for anyone to consign their sports collectibles. This week on ESNY’s True Blue Podcast we spoke with Mr. Steiner where he announced that he will be listing some of his personal collection on CollectibleXChange next month.

This is not your normal collection.

Steiner has been the go to person for sports memorabilia, in particular NY Sports, for over 30 years. Steiner Sports had astore inside Yankee Stadium. If that doesn’t make you legit, nothing will.

Among the items that will be listed next month are Mariano Rivera’s cleats from the last game at Old Yankee Stadium, A Derek Jeter game used glove, Mel Stottlemyre’s 1986 World Series Trophy, a perfect looking Babe Ruth autograph ball and a countless amount of autographed checks signed by legendary sports figures.
