New York Yankees star Aaron Judge is using the offseason for good deeds galore, including a recent visit to a California children’s hospital.

Aaron Judge is a superstar both on and off the field for the New York Yankees. The latest proof of that is his trip to Valley Children’s Hospital in Fresno, California, on Friday.

According to James W Jakobs at ABC 30, Judge “…hung out at the bedside of some of the kids and spent time in the Child Life Playroom.” Judge’s girlfriend, Samantha Bracksieck, also participated in the visit.

The Bombers slugger grew up in Linden, California, which is about 30 minutes from the hospital.

Per The Fresno Bee, Judge’s visit to the hospital is sandwiched between a Thursday fundraiser in Madera, California, and a youth baseball camp at Fresno State, his alma mater. Both events fall under the auspices of Judge’s ALL RISE Foundation.

Judge, 27, established the ALL RISE Foundation in Jan. 2019. Per the organization’s website, “ALL RISE will inspire children and youth to become responsible citizens by engaging them in activities that encourage them to reach unlimited possibilities.”

Based on his latest activities, Judge is ensuring that his foundation follows through on its promises.

In addition to charitable endeavors, Judge has indulged in more than one NBA game this offseason.

He was spotted at a contest between the New York Knicks and Brooklyn Nets just days after his season ended. A few weeks later, he popped up in Arizona for a game between the Phoenix Suns and Los Angeles Lakers.

It’s certainly good to see Judge enjoying a fulfilling break. Maybe the good vibes he’s creating will spill over into 2020 and keep him healthy and bashing in the Bronx.
