New York Rangers young defenseman Adam Fox spoke recently about the team’s youth movement and his golf game.

Adam Fox is ready to bring his game to the New York Rangers. He spoke with Laura Behnke about the team’s youth movement, via the club’s Twitter account.

The Jericho, NY native talked about how this summer has gone now that he is a member of the Rangers hockey club. The discussion of the club’s “youth movement,” along with his thoughts following the team’s prospect development camp, brings plenty of optimism.

“You see a lot of guys who are hoping to make the team and help do something special, so it’s definitely exciting.”

Fox, 21, grew up a Rangers fan but the time he and his teammates visited Madison Square Garden was the first time he saw MSG from the players view.

“It was the first time in the locker room, it was definitely an experience for me,” Fox said.

It might have been the first time in the locker room, but Fox has played at the worlds most famous arena previously. In 2017, he and his Harvard team played against Cornell University in the Frozen Apple.

His team won the game and he hopes some of that experience will serve as a starting point for his upcoming career as a New York Ranger.

He also enjoys golf, though, when his father first took him it play at the age of nine, he wasn’t a fan. The defenseman now finds it as a way to get outdoors and now enjoys it.

Fox will get ready for the start of training camp in September where he hopes to land a starting spot in the opening night lineup.
