New York Giants defensive tackle Damon “Snacks” Harrison is very excited about LeBron James agreeing to a deal with the Los Angeles Lakers.

On Sunday night, the basketball world (and the sports world in general) went wild. LeBron James, a free agent this offseason, agreed to a four-year deal with the Los Angeles Lakers. The deal is worth $153.3 million.

Faced with multiple options, LeBron eventually decided on Los Angeles. These included remaining in Cleveland, signing with the Houston Rockets, Philadelphia 76ers, among many others teams that would love LeBron to headline their organization. However, LeBron owns a home in Los Angeles plus would have numerous career opportunities to transition into after basketball, being in the film/TV capital of the world.

With mixed reactions and emotions from fans over the biggest signing of this NBA offseason, Damon “Snacks” Harrison of the New York Giants took to social media to express his opinion over it. Snacks is a die-hard Laker fan, and judging by the looks of it, is also a big LeBron fan.

This isn’t the only time the former New York Jet and current Giant has shown support towards LeBron. In July of 2017, Snacks was a guest on NFL Network’s Good Morning Football. It was within a discussion where he compared Giants quarterback Eli Manning to the then-Cleveland Cavaliers star.

“LeBron could average 30 [points], 15 rebounds and 12 assists and it’s like ‘he didn’t do enough,'” Snacks said. He then went on to acknowledge how both athletes are taken for granted by most fans in their respective leagues.

Snacks is one of many that are enthusiastic by this enormous signing for the Lakers. Many believe it’s not surprising that LeBron chose LA. However, it’s still intriguing to witness the 14-time all-star and four-time NBA MVP in a Lakers uniform. Especially for what could be the final years of his storied and incredible career.
