New York Mets third baseman Todd Frazier gets Game 2 of the Subway Series started right with a home run against his former club, the Yankees.
Todd Frazier is just one of those guys. He’s a baseball player whose stats never accurately describe what he can do for a club on the field and in the clubhouse.
Hitting second in the lineup for Game 2 of the 2018 Subway Series, it was Frazier front and center.

He also accomplished the feat on the very same day he spoke with a Little League team in attendance on Saturday night. Remember, Frazier himself played for Toms River, New Jersey decades ago, leading his 11 and 12-year-old buddies to the Little League World Series title.

After the Mets put up a three-spot in the first inning off New York Yankees starter Domingo German (Asdrubal Cabrera also hit a home run, a solo shot), the Baby Bombers have answered.
Gleyber Torres smacked a solo homer in the third while Miguel Andujar smacked a two-run shot in the sixth. Both German and Steven Matz remain this 3-3 Subway Series contest locked up in the bottom of the sixth.
