Todd Bowles gives the New York Jets defense some motivation after saying he didn’t like their dance moves.

The New York Jets became an internet sensation during Thursday’s game against the Buffalo Bills.

During a timeout in the third quarter of Thursday’s game, the Jets defense decided to show off their dance moves on the field. Fans enjoyed the dancing which turned into its own hashtag, #JetsDanceToAnything. However, head coach Todd Bowles wasn’t a fan of the moves.

“Not one of them could’ve been a ‘Soul Train’ dancer,” he said, via Rich Cimini of ESPN. “But that’s all right.”

Ouch. Good thing Bowles is a football coach and not a dance instructor because apparently he can’t appreciate good dancing when he sees it.

If I was one of those dancing fools, I wouldn’t be too happy with coach right now. Looks like the Jets defense will have to prove Bowles wrong and that they could have been a Soul Train dancer.

Quarterback Josh McCown joked that he might look at becoming a safety so that he could get in on the dancing fun also. McCown and the rest of the Jets team should join the #JetsDanceToAnything movement so that Bowles can admit that he was wrong. After that then he can join in the dance craze.

Let’s hope the #JetsDanceToAnything movement continues because it would an absolute shame if it went away.
