After a dismal start to the 2017-18 season, the New York Rangers are improving and beginning to find their game.
The New York Rangers have turned their backs on an awful start to the season. Although still not playing complete, 60-minute hockey games, they have found a way to scrape points out of all three games this week.
Poor player performances forced Alain Vigneault and the coaching staff to jumble the offensive line. They struck gold with the creation of the Vesey-Hayes-Fast line. The hard-working line has easily been the teams best during this past week.
The carousel of Blueshirt defenseman continues with Anthony DeAngelo, Steven Kampfer and Nick Holden battling for the seventh defensive spot. DeAngelo stinks, plain and simple. Holden getting playing time is likely just a showcase to try and trade the Veteran D-man.

The New York Rangers have a relatively easy week ahead, facing the San Jose Sharks and Arizona Coyotes (Return of Step and Raanta) at home. They then head to Montreal to take on the struggling Canadiens. It’s time for the boys to curb the crappy start and look forward to the season ahead.
