New York Knicks center Willy Hernangomez and his fellow Spaniards won’t be crowned Eurobasket champs. The legend of Hoodie Melo lives on.

Thursday afternoon, New York Knicks center, Willy Hernangomez, and Spain were stunned by Slovenia in the Eurobasket Semi-Final, losing 92-72.

Anthony Randolph and Goran Dragic led the way for Slovenia, combining for 30 points. As a team, Slovenia shot 56 percent from beyond the arc.

For Spain, the Gasol brothers, Marc and Pau, kept them in the swing of things for the majority of the game. Combining for 28 points and 16 rebounds, they were one of Spain’s lone bright spots.

Hernangomez contributed six points and four rebounds in just over 10 minutes of play.

Hoodie Melo Jersey

Let the legend of Hoodie Melo live on.

The Knicks and NBA world have become accustomed to seeing forward Carmelo Anthony ball out this offseason while wearing a hoodie; he’s practically a different and even better player when wearing it.

One fan, Robert Gordon, rocked his own custom-made, one-of-a-kind Hoodie Melo Jersey.

The myth of what Anthony playing with a hoodie could do to his game in the NBA regular season has now been expanded to a jersey with such a feature; if only he could wear it in a game.
