Much like Aaron Rodgers once did, New York Giants starting quarterback Eli Manning attempts to calm the overwhelming frenzy.
“R-E-L-A-X.”
With those five letters, Green Bay Packers and two-time NFL MVP quarterback Aaron Rodgers once calmed down a nation of Cheeseheads.
On Thursday, Sept. 14, 2017, another future Pro Football Hall of Fame quarterback attempts to calm down a city of fans.
New York Giants quarterback Eli Manning was extremely transparent after practice. According to Ralph Vacchiano of SNY, Manning said, “We’ll bounce back. We just need to slow down. Everybody take a breath.”
Eli Manning on the Giants offensive problems: "We'll bounce back. We just need to slow down, everybody take a breath."

Obviously, the words are in response to the Giants abysmal three-point performance against the Dallas Cowboys in Week 1 last Sunday night.
As a team, New York could only muster 233 total yards of offense. Only 35 came via the ground on 12 attempts and Eli finished 29-of-38 for 228 yards and an interception.
The 0-1 Giants will look to bounce back (as Eli so appropriately put it) against the Detroit Lions at the Meadowlands this coming Monday night.
