New York Yankees slugger Todd Frazier shortened New York’s deficit in the sixth inning with a two-run jack over the green monster.
“The Toddfather” came up big for the New York Yankees in the sixth inning of Friday night’s matchup against the rival Boston Red Sox.
Frazier took Red Sox right-hander Matt Barnes yard over the green monster in left-field to pull New York within one in game one of a huge series for both teams.

This was home run number 20 on the season for the third-baseman and traveled a distance of 378 feet with an exit velocity of 104 m.p.h.
With Gary Sanchez and Aaron Judge starting to get a feel for things once again, Frazier getting hot down the stretch could be huge for the Bronx Bombers.
Entering tonight, Frazier is slashing just .207/.320/.322 with three home runs and 11 RBI’s since being traded to New York. Definitely numbers he will look to improve on as we inch closer to October.
