New York City FC will attempt to make it three wins in a row when they take on FC Dallas on the road on Sunday.
New York City face Dallas at the Toyota Stadium on Sunday evening as they aim to claim three successive victories after they defeated MLS expansion side Atlanta United to win back to back wins for the first time this season.
The New York have embarked on a solid run of form over the past few weeks, winning four out of their previous six fixtures.
Patrick Viera’s men will find themselves in second with a victory in Texas due to their superior goal difference to second-placed Columbus. They current position is fourth place, though they will have played a match more than third place Orlando by tomorrow and two less than the Crew.
The Yankee Stadium-based side have claimed six points from a possible twelve away from home, winning and losing two of their four away clashes.
The last meeting between the two sides took place back in September as they battled out to a 2-2 draw at Yankee Stadium. NYCFC’s first and only ever match at the Toyota stadium ended in a 2-1 defeat in their debut season.
