The New York Rangers give joy and happiness to so many people, including high schoolers looking for a prom date.
Hockey players are well known for their philanthropy and big hearts. Countless pucks, sticks, gloves and jerseys have been provided to ecstatic fans over the years. For the last several years, “promposals” have become a big hit. With social media and access to so much information at the tip of your fingers, everyone is looking for that big moment. Call it old-fashioned, but whatever happened to the good old, “Will you go to prom with me?” Nevertheless, kids have become pretty creative these days.
Give it up for Daniel Greiss who was able to solidify his prom date via the New York Rangers.

Now, he isn’t alone. This tactic has been used before to convince a girl you’re worth her time. Take this gunner who was able to persuade his date via the New York Rangers.

These guys clearly took the time and effort to create something special for their respective girls. More importantly, these guys are looking to spread Rangers nation. Really, what is more important than that?
I hope that these guys and all other Rangers fans out there are hoping and praying that the New York Rangers can do more than help a kid get a prom date. Diehard Rangers fans are hoping the good will of New York Rangers players will create positive energy and that, hopefully, karma will kick in down the stretch.
Even more than the prom date, these two guys are ultimately hoping to score the one thing that New York City has been yearning for: The Cup. The elusive Stanley Cup has avoided coming to the Big Apple since 1994. Let’s put an end to that boys. The show starts in a few short weeks.
Let’s Go Rangers!
