Former New York Yankees superstar Alex Rodriguez has taken his relationship with pop star Jennifer Lopez to the next level in Tampa.
New York Yankees fans got two surprises Saturday afternoon. One was an appearance from number 13, Alex Rodriguez, for a second stint as a guest instructor at spring training.
The second was the appearance of the original “Jenny from the Block”, Jennifer Lopez. It looks like J-Rod is still going strong after their relationship was made public on March 8.
According to a report from the New York Daily News, J-Lo spent the game with A-Rod up in a private suite at George M. Steinbrenner Field during the Yankees’ loss to the Baltimore Orioles on Saturday.
While J-Rod’s relationship has been mainly kept under wraps, much to everyone’s surprise, it doesn’t seem to be getting in the way of his involvement with his former team just yet.
A-Rod’s day on the field consisted of providing guidance for top prospect Gleyber Torres on his hitting routine. Torres, who has been slashing an impressive .423/.448/.923 line this spring, praised A-Rod for his work with him so far this season on his Twitter account.

Off the field, we can only guess what J-Rod is up to. That’s up to you to use your imagination. While some of A-Rod’s past beaus have been dubbed “bad luck” by New York media, since J-Rod was announced on March 8, the Yankees have been 6-3 in some tough spring training games.
J-Rod, keep doing your thing. Even though the Yankees lost to day in your presence, we’ll give you another shot. This duo oozes enough star power to light up the Bronx again after Snowstorm Stella.
After all, their relationship seems to be a home run, something A-Rod knows a whole lot about. Welcome to the big leagues, J-Lo.
