New York Knicks have expanded trade talks to Clippers and Celtics (Report)

The New York Knicks continue to look to dump their star, Carmelo Anthony, in hopes of a total rebuild. Will they get what they’re seeking?
Rumors broke this week that the New York Knicks have approached the Cleveland Cavaliers about a Carmelo Anthony–Kevin Love swap. They received a swift “thanks, but no thanks” from the defending NBA champions.
You can’t blame the Knicks for persistence. More reports are surfacing (per Adrian Wojnarowski) that the Knicks have expanded their search to Los Angeles and Boston.
There seems to be a clear methodology behind the Zen master’s gameplan: trade Melo and build around their perennial star, Kristaps Porzingis.

The Boston Celtics certainly have the draft picks and the pieces to consummate a trade, but is this the star they’ve been waiting for? While the Clippers are getting healthy and could use another piece to get them over the top.
The concern is that Melo’s age (32), attitude, and mindset could be an issue for whatever team desires his services.
There have also been no confirmations from around the league that Carmelo Anthony will, in fact, waive his no-trade clause.
