WWE Superstar John Cena was the host of ‘Saturday Night Live’ this week and he wasted no time imitating a player from his hometown team.

John Cena made quite the impersonation on this week’s edition of Saturday Night Live, where he impersonated New England Patriots’ tight end Rob Gronkowski.

This was all a part of a skit called “Where’d Your Money Go?,” where he did a great representation of Gronkowski’s notable mannerisms as well as referring to his infamous party habits.

Being that Cena is a Massachusetts native, he grew up watching the Patriots and all of this is purely in good fun — it is SNL after all. There are not many people in the world that even come close to the size of Gronkowski, but if there was one person who could, it would definitely be Cena.

The tight end is 6-foot-6, 265 pounds while Cena is 6-foot-1, 251 pounds.

Of course “Gronk” probably isn’t feeling too hot right now after receiving news that his season is over due to injury, but maybe this little skit from the WWE superstar could make him chuckle a little bit.
