New York Giants wide receiver Victor Cruz is still dealing with a nagging ankle injury which will cause him to miss Monday night’s game.

Wide receiver Victor Cruz injured his ankle in action during Week 9 against the Philadelphia Eagles. This, obviously, hasn’t been solid news for either the New York Giants. or Cruz himself.

He hasn’t taken the field since.

On Saturday, the Giants came out and told the media that it was questionable whether or not Cruz would be ready to play on Monday Night Football when the G-Men host A.J. Green and the Cincinnati Bengals.

By Monday morning, the news didn’t look too good.

According to Mike Garafolo of NFL Network, Cruz is unlikely to be ready to play tonight at MetLife Stadium against the Cincinnati Bengals.

This means young Roger Lewis Jr. will once again have to pick up the slack in the slot and as the third wide receiver for Eli Manning.

Kickoff comes your way at 8:30 p.m. ET on ESPN.
