RP – Jonathan Papelbon
As both Mets and Yankees fans have figured out, Jonathan Papelbon doesn’t have the greatest temper.
In 2014, Papelbon was booed off the mound after blowing a save and proceeded to grab his crotch while looking at the fans. No, Papelbon was not adjusting his cup or underwear; you know exactly what he meant.
In 2015, he was at the center of the aforementioned fight in the Nationals’ dugout. Papelbon, who had only been on the Nationals for two months, got snippy at Bryce Harper for not running out a flyball. Whatever Harper said back must’ve really got to him as he choked Harper and slammed him against the bench.
