Why Is Ja Rule In The New York Islanders Locker Room?

An interesting celebrity surfaced in the New York Islanders locker room after they took out the Ottawa Senators on Wednesday night.

We understand the glitz and glamour of Madison Square Garden.

It’s real. It’s a thing. When the celebs decide it’s time to go out, they look no further than Manhattan.

Matt Harvey, Susan Sarandon, Tim Robbins, Justin Tuck, Tom Hanks – they’re all names who’ve frequented MSG during a New York Rangers game.

The New York Islanders? Yeah, they get Ja Rule.

What?

Yeah…Ja Rule.

Although the Barclays Center has hosted this former has-been before, in no case was it more evident that Ja was the arena’s newest celeb on hand than after the New York Islanders 3-1 victory over the Ottawa Senators.

Ja decided watching from the stands wasn’t good enough:

Many are now crediting the has-been rapper with breaking the Isles losing skid (despite his presence at Barclays just a couple weeks ago).

But yeah. Ja freaking Rule ladies and gentlemen.
